CCSD Director of Public Information Shares Sad Plight of Mike Chapman

Does SB veteran Mike Chapman have a case of "poor misquoted me" syndrome?  If you were at the Cherokee County School Board meeting last spring and heard Mike Chapman suggest that people of this county do have a choice, "they can move". Was it what he said, or the way he said it that angered you the most?

.....and why is Barbara P. Jacoby, Director, Public Information, Communications and Partnerships for the
Cherokee County School District sending this to anyone and everyone in her contact list?  I guess it's music to her ears when one of our elected School Board members calls our grass-roots efforts "disgusting". Maybe, Mr. Chapman, you should take your own advice and move since the real charter school movement in this county has only just begun.

  1. I like how at the end of the article he says if we really want to change education... "the state legislature should".... way to pass the buck again!!
Why if we are so wrong to want a choice is Chapman wanting to start "options" within CCSD?? We don't need them according to him! Sounds like an election campaign to me!
